I landed safely at the airport in Tel Aviv. The flight was not as bumpy as the first flight to JFK, but it was a long time to be stuck on a plane. I managed to get through passport security okay, but they did ask a lot of questions and I started to get nervous. Customs was a breeze, thankfully. I got to the hotel, via the pre-arranged taxi, with the other two ladies that were on my same flights. The taxi driver was very friendly. I got checked into my hotel, however my key card didn’t work so they gave me a regular key instead. Apparently, that doesn’t seem to open the door either, but luckily my room mate’s key card works fine. After dropping off all my stuff, I went downstairs and had a late dinner. I crashed out at about 8:30 tonight. It was a very tiring trip to get to Israel.
